Who we are

Sacha Hughes graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Business Studies before embarking on a ten-year career in financial services recruitment in London. Her debut novel, Love, Grief, & More Sex Than Pinot, is inspired by her personal experiences in her mid-to-late twenties.

Sacha writes from her kitchen table in Poole, Dorset, fuelled by strong coffee, Common Roots cacao, daily meditation, and the occasional pinot grigio with close friends. She lives with her two treasured children, Rose and Cato; their much-adored (and very entitled) black-and-white cat, Pickle; and the newest addition to the family, an adventurous black kitten named Zuma.

Sacha’s aim is to share stories that are raw, real, relatable, and written with heart and humour. While she hopes they entertain, she also hopes they inspire readers to avoid making the same heart-punching muck-ups as she did… unless they want to, that is!
